How can I find out more info about your driving school?
You can look at the 1way Driving School Friends page or the 1way Driving School fan page these two pages contain a lot of correspondence with past and present pupils.

Why should I pick your school over one of the big national schools?
As a small local Driving School we do not have the resources to shower £££’s on fancy advertising campaigns so we have to build our business on trust, excellent pass rates and building a rapport with the existing and past pupils, this equals a more personal and effective service. 90% of our work comes from referrals due to our excellent reputation.

What do I need to start lessons?
A Provisional licence and the ability to read a standard number plate at 20.5 metres (approx 6 car lengths). If glasses are required to do this, then they must be worn whilst driving. Eyesight restrictions info.

How and when can I apply for a provisional?
You can apply up to three months before your 17th birthday or three months before your 16th birthday if you are registered disabled. If you are over 17 then you can apply immediately, visit here to apply for a provisional licence.

Your Driving Instructor will need to see a valid photo card licence before any driving lessons can commence, you’ll also need your photocard to sit the theory and practical tests.  Replacements can be applied for online at the D.V.S.A website.  The D.S.A have a strict policy of not starting a test, theory or practical without the photocard licence.
